I work within organisations across a range of sectors as a specialist consultant in Learning & Development, Talent Assessment/ Development and Organisational Development, sometimes this involves a blend of all these areas depending on the requirements of the project/work.
I am often referred to as a ‘trusted advisor’ who brings a balanced and relevant ‘outside’ view with the competence and experience behind me to deliver sustainable results. I work in partnership with your organisation and like to understand your business first so that I can identify quickly where I can add the greatest value to the specific project/work that you need undertaken.
My extensive experience of consulting over the years has taught me clear success measures; strong stakeholder engagement, regular communication and feedback are all key to the successful delivery and rest assured this is the foundation of my approach and style.

Learning & Development
Influenced, shaped and re-designed existing leadership frameworks to incorporate organisational changes that have impacted the required leadership capability. Working to align and embed current standing frameworks, competencies and principles to deliver a future proof leadership framework that fully supports the business and people strategies. This has also involved working with external industry frameworks to ensure they incorporate both internal and external best practices.
Designed, developed and delivered ILM accredited Leadership and Management Development programmes for a growing UK Construction business with a strong focus on developing current and future leadership capability.
Delivery of a Management development programme for middle and senior managers, building on the foundations of great management and enhancing their current skillet in key skills such as engaging others, communication, emotional intelligence, managing conflict and how to get accountability. The programme provides a blended learning approach of workshops, management diagnostic and individual leadership coaching.
Organisational Development (OD)
Successfully led on the delivery of an Executive/ Senior OD – Leadership intervention, which provided an opportunity to engage with the top 200 leadership population to focus on the future of the organisation. Developed 2 leadership events (experiential event and leadership conversation) that engaged and enabled leaders to deliver on the future strategy by developing their leadership capability. Influenced, shaped and contributed to the delivery of the events and led on the implementation of ‘Yammer’ a corporate social collaboration tool to host the conversation ‘real-time’ at the leadership events and to encourage feedback post event.
Talent Assessment & Development
Worked in partnership with Senior Leadership teams to develop and deliver robust talent management processes and practices and drive improvement in succession planning. This included reviewing current HR and business practices to diagnose, design and deliver a value-add talent process to identify, develop and measure talented individuals for current and future succession roles. Facilitated a number of sessions such as the leadership team conversations to diagnose and support implementation of the solutions, talent assessment and development centres as well as individual coaching of both leaders and individuals.
Leaders & Teams
Influenced and shaped the development of Executive and Senior leadership teams within a FTSE100 Insurance company and UK bank. Diagnosed, shaped and delivered individual leadership and team development solutions that engaged and enabled leaders and their teams to drive sustainable high performance. This included a range of tailored interventions, such as individual coaching using MBTI and 360 reporting tools as well as facilitated team building sessions that diagnosed current issues, explored potential solutions and developed effective next steps.
